Local area churches have organized a benefit concert to raise funds in support of their shared refugee immigration ministry efforts. Spirit Fiddle, featuring Champion Fiddler Robin Warren and Guitarist Brian Clancey, will perform at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Chelmsford Center on Saturday, 17 May 2008.

Spirit Fiddle performs a wide variety of music, ranging from bouncy Southern and Texas swing tunes to sweet waltzes, old popular songs, bluegrass numbers, French Canadian and Celtic jigs and reels, European and gypsy music, and Parisian musette. The duo has played in over 700 performances all over North America and has delighted audiences with their eclectic mix of music, recording 5 full-length albums and over 20 television specials.

"We are thrilled Robin and Brian have volunteered to do a benefit concert for our area's refugee immigration ministry efforts." said Reverend Tom Barrington of All Saints' Episcopal Church. "Spirit Fiddle always puts on a great show, and the funds raised will be put to good use by our interfaith Chelmsford cluster - providing essential social services to newly arrived individuals and refugees seeking asylum."

The Spirit Fiddle Concert is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday, 17 May 2008 at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Road, (Rt. 129) Chelmsford Center. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors & teens. Tickets for children under 13 are free of charge.

Tickets are available for purchase at local Chelmsford churches and at the door the evening of the event.
