Bwana Asifiwe – Praise the Lord

My dear brothers and sisters of All Saints’ Church,

With great joy and gratitude I am delighted to be back at All Saints’. The last few months have been a unique opportunity to me to learn, grow and be challenged.

I thank you for the blessings you have bestowed on me by granting me the time to go on a sabbatical.
I thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
I thank the wardens, vestry and staff for all of their extra work while I was away.
I thank the Rev. Ray Bronk for his wise and learned leadership.

I have some amazing stories and experiences from Kenya that I can not wait to share with you. I also know that many of you have had important and life changing experiences that you will want to share with me. All of this will take some time so we will have to patient with each other.

The greatest impact of my time in Kenya has been a renewed appreciation of the nearness of God’s love and grace. I hope that I might be able to share some of the flavor of these mysteries. In the same way I look forward to each of you sharing with me and each other the ways God’s love and grace has touch you.

Yours in Christ,

Tom
