The Massachusetts Diocesan will be offering a live webcast of the Ordination of the Rev. Alan McIntosh Gates at Boston University’s Agganis Arena on Saturday, Sept. 13 for those who cannot be at the celebration in person. The processions begin at 10:30 a.m., with the service to follow. Please check the consecration page on the diocesan website for a link.

The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts awards Sending Serving grant funds to support domestic and international programs that enhance the outreach ministries of congregations through new or existing programs. Diocesan Family picnic and Worship Celebration
June 21 Eucharistic Celebration and Family Picnic: Everyone in the diocesan community is invited to gather for a celebration and commemoration of Bishop Shaw’s ministry. This festive event will take place on June 21, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., rain or shine, at the Pinebank Promontory on Jamaica Pond (corner of Perkins Street and the Jamaicaway) in Jamaica Plain, in the City of Boston.
The celebration will include remarks by Bishop Barbara C. Harris, with Bishop Frank Griswold preaching.

• Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. Ice cream and beverages will be provided.

Prayer as First Resort
Will meet in June and July on the second Tuesday of the month, June 10th and July 8th. We will be welcoming our guest presenter Amy Hunter who will be with us for a special two session series using text from Henri Nouwen. We are excited to have Amy with us where we will be talking about prayer and community.

Prayer as First Resort will meet on Tuesday May 6th (special date) 7:30-8:45 in the Blue Room.
