Join us for Holy Week Morning prayers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (April 6-8). The Zoom links have been emailed to all Parishioners.
Here are some photos from this Sunday’s class: kids made Lenten Flowers with prayers in the petals, they are taking care of Lenten Bulbs and watching life come forth, and drawing pictures in response to hearing the story of Jesus’ life.
All families in the Church School will be receiving a mailing with craft supplies for Lenten and Easter crafts. To cut down on mailing costs, I am posting the directions for using these materials here as downloadable files in the pdf format. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing and I can email them to you directly. Laura at email@example.com
The Upper School kids had a great first week of online church school! There were 14 kids present!! All Saints’ Upper School is for kids in grades 5th- 12th. The start time is 11:30- show up a little early to chat and say hi! The talk this week was about the Stations of the Cross by David Kercher. It was excellent! You can view the talk on the church website- it will be posted later this week.
We will be holding Upper School class online for the foreseeable future. It is easy to join- I will email out a link to all registered families in the church school every Friday- you should feel free to share it and invite youth to join- it costs nothing. And it is so nice to see each other and talk about God together.
We had our first online Church School this Sunday. The younger kids class was at 9:15am and we had 14 kids there! This is such an easy way to see each other and stay connected- we will be holding class this way each week while we are in this situation- all are invited to join us! I will be emailing out the Invitation Link to registered church school families every Friday. Feel free to share it with family and friends.
The story this week was the birth of Jesus and the time he went to the temple and Mary and Joseph searched for him: “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” Luke 2:49
If you are unable to get to church on Sunday morning, this simple prayer service can be done with your family. It is taken from the book, “Common Prayer for Children and Families,” by Jenifer Gamber & Timothy Seamans
Here is the handout for the Way of Love program, and don’t forget that there’s a Way of Love calendar to access (scroll down to see the post)…
