Welcome to the Uploading Orders of Service How To page
This page is resource for people who are uploading the Orders of Service. It describes how to upload a new Orders of Service PDF, and where the new Orders of Service will show up in the website.
Before you attempt to upload a new Orders of Service document, you must have the following:
- The date that applies to the Orders of Service.
- The name of the event (e.g., “Fifth Day of Easter” or “Fourth Sunday of Advent – Wreath Lighting Prayers”).
- A copy of the Orders of Service document in PDF form: do not upload Word documents or links to Word documents.
Upload a new Orders of Service

- Log into the Dashboard by going to https://www.allsaintschelmsford.org/wp-admin and entering your user name and password.
- Click on the “Media” menu option on the left menu bar (1).
- Click on the “Add Media File” button (2) located to the right of the “Media Library” page title.
- The upload area will open, which will have two options. You can either drag the Orders of Service file into the dashed rectangle and drop it there, or you can click the “Select Files” button and use the file browser to choose the Orders of Service file.

- After either action the new file will appear in the list of files below the upload area. Click on the new file to open the properties editor where you will edit the “Title” and “Categories” fields.
NOTE: You will not be using the Media Categories which shows a list of categories – instead you will be using the “Categories” text box. - Edit the “Title” text box, and replace the contents with the following pattern: <three letter Day of Week>, <three letter month> <day of month>, <four digit year> <time of day> <AM/PM>: <title of service>. Examples of Orders of Service titles that follow that pattern are below.
- Sunday, May 25, 2025 10:00 AM: Sixth Sunday of Easter
- Sunday, Apr 20, 2025 10:00 AM: Easter
- Monday-Wednesday, Apr 3-5, 2023 6:30 PM: Holy Week – live stream
- Edit the “Categories” text box, and replace any existing contents with the following: orders-of-service.
- Click in the “Tags” text box to make sure the website realizes you are done editing the “Categories” text box, and saves your changes.
- Click on the X in the upper left corner of the attachment details to finish editing the Orders of Service details.

- Go to the Orders of Service page and verify that the Title you entered is at the top of the list of Orders of Service.
