The Bible, both Old and New Testament, has MANY LESSONS about money, wealth and giving.  Many of these are directed at caring for the poor, the young and those in need.  Some are about feeding others.  The most important, in three of the Gospels is to love God and love our neighbors. That lesson is in the Old Testament as well:

And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:28-31

Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy 6:4–5

Directed by God to worship and love each other, what do we do?  We believe that everything we have comes from God, and we are stewards of these gifts for a time.  We thankfully return what we can to God, by supporting his work in the world.

All Saints’ Church strives to be a community that follows both Great Commandments by worshiping God together and by loving each other and our neighbors.  We do that with the support of the gifts of time, talent and treasure that we return out of what we’ve been given.  Thank you for your stewardship and generosity towards supporting ministries of All Saints’.
